Second Conference 2 & 3 October 2008 Leuven!

The Dutch Institute for Construction Law (IBR), in cooperation with the Institute for Environmental and Energy Law (IMER) & Center for Construction Law (CBR) of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven hosted the second conference of the Platform of Experts in Planning Law on 2 and 3 October 2008 in Leuven, about:

New Aspects in Flemish Planning Law

On the first day of the conference a case was discussed. Ari Ekroos (Finland) and Fred Hobma (The Netherlands) gave an presentation about their reaction to the case.
And in the afternoon Marc Boes (Belgium) gave an inspiring presentation about New aspects in Flemish Planning Law.

Rachelle Alterman (Israel) evaluated the conference and pointed out the importance of this platform. Dick Lubach (The Netherlands) was chairman of the day.

All participants expressed their intention for a follow up to the further exchange of knowledge through this website and a third conference next year.

The second day of the conference included a cultural program. The city-walk trough the beautifull old town of Leuven en the visit to the small brewery ‘Domus’ was very much appreciated by the members of the Platform.
